To Reduced Ear Pain

Ear pain is the most common complaint to the peoples.Earwax is a light to dark brown or orange discharge that does not have an unpleasant or foul odor. It is normal for earwax to drain from the ear, and it can sometimes look like fluid draining from the ear. Draining earwax usually is not painful.
After bathing, swimming, or inserting drops into the ear, fluid may drain from the ear. This is also normal.
Mild ear pain can mean a variety of minor ear problems that usually are not a cause for concern. Moderate to severe ear pain is more significant when other symptoms of an ear infection are also present.
Causes :
There are many reasons that the Eustachian tubes may not open to equalize the pressure.

  •     Smoking
  •     Vomiting, and dizziness.
  •     Allergies
  •     Cold seawater will then rush into the middle ear causing nausea
  •     Upper respiratory infections
  •     Ear pain occurs during the descent portion of a dive as the diver drops deeper underwater.
  •     Nasal polyps
  •     Previous facial trauma
  •     Over-aggressive ear clearing
  1. Ear pain (mild to severe). Babies often pull or tug at their ears when they have an earache.
  2. Trouble sleeping.
  3. Pressure against the eardrum is responsible for the symptoms of ear squeeze. At low pressure, the diver has a feeling of fullness. As the pressure increases, the eardrum bulges inward, swells, and becomes painful.
  4. Symptoms of a middle ear infection (acute otitis media) often start 2 to 7 days after the start of a cold or other upper respiratory infection.
  5. Symptoms of an ear infection may include Fever.
  6. Drainage from the ear that is thick and yellow or bloody. If this occurs, the eardrum has probably burst (ruptured). The hole in the eardrum often heals by itself in a few weeks.
  7. Loss of appetite, vomiting, and grumpy behavior.
  8. Trouble hearing.
  9. Continued high pressure can rupture the eardrum. If this happens, air bubbles may be felt coming from the ear and the pain may lessen. Cold water then enters the middle ear through the hole in the eardrum.
  10. The diver may become nauseated or vomit. The diver may also become disoriented or have a sensation of spinning (vertigo).
Diagnosis:
Your doctor will talk to you about your child's symptoms. Then he or she will look into your child's ears. A special tool with a light lets the doctor see the eardrum and tell whether there is fluid behind it. This exam is rarely uncomfortable. It bothers some children more than others.
